Factory-installed LFAM. Scalable, precise, production-ready.
PDL Industrial is Phoenix’s static, modular large-format 3D printing (LFAM) system for factories, R&D labs and design studios that want meter-scale, repeatable production in-house. Built on the same operating system that powers our Dilsen hub, it delivers speed, quality and traceability—ready for stockless, made-to-order series.
Why PDL Industrial
- Lower TCO, higher uptime — industrial hardware, integrated material handling and proven toolpaths cut scrap and downtime.
- Quality you can trust — standardized HW/SW stack, documented settings, FAI/AQL workflows, full traceability; critical faces to ±0.10 mm (where specified).
- Scalable by design — expand by modules or build volume; add cells as demand grows without brownfield CAPEX.
- Circular & documented — qualified recycled polymer blends, batch IDs and a CO₂ badge for procurement acceptance.
- IoT visibility — remote diagnostics, data logging and optional dashboards for OEE, material and quality KPIs.
What’s inside (core system)
- Standard build volume: 4000 × 2000 × 2000 mm (custom scaling on request)
- Process hardware: integrated melt pump, heated vacuum bed, material dryer
- Process agility: 45° printing enabled for faster builds and fewer supports
- Software/controls: Phoenix toolchain with validated profiles; QA templates & recipes
- Materials: compatible with Phoenix’s library of technical, recycled polymer blends (incl. fiber-reinforced)
- Connectivity: IoT monitoring, remote diagnostics, optional automated material feed
Typical use cases
- Office & Furniture OEMs — catalog SKUs (bases, dividers, acoustics) made in-house, stockless.
- Retail/Brand environments — regional hubs for campaign parts with Priority Capacity windows.
- Architecture & Construction — façade panels, formwork/moulds, ornament modules.
- Defense & Industrial — jigs/fixtures, housings, mission-specific parts with documented QA.
Deployment & enablement
- Application & site assessment — throughput targets, materials, quality specs, HSE & power.
- Factory integration — layout, handling, ventilation, and safety SOPs.
- Installation & commissioning — turn-key; operator training; first articles signed off.
- Ramp & optimize — process tuning to hit OEE and cost targets; optional Phoenix co-pilot period.
- Operate & improve — remote support, software updates, material recipes, and optional service levels.
Engagement models
- Purchase — full ownership with training, documentation, and updates.
- Lease-to-operate — spread CAPEX; Phoenix covers training, remote support, updates.
- Hybrid — start production at Phoenix (Dilsen), then transfer SKUs to your PDL Industrial line when volumes stabilize.
Each system ships with verified material profiles, installation & operator training, and ongoing software/hardware updates.
