European manufacturing is brilliant at design—but slowed by tooling, inventory and distance. Too many launches miss windows, too much cash sits in stock, and too much waste leaves value on the table. We started Phoenix to flip that script: production that is fast, close and circular—without the burden of stock.
Stockless by Design.
Before Phoenix, our team built and ran large-format 3D printers, tuned recycled polymer blends, and shipped real parts for real clients. We learned a simple truth: to fix speed, stock and sustainability, you must own the loop—design, materials and machines working as one system, close to the customer.
Make European manufacturing faster, closer and circular—without the burden of stock.
Training, commissioning, and remote support included.
We run technical, recycled polymers (e.g., rPET, rPP, rPE; fiber-reinforced blends) compounded by certified partners. With Closed-Loop Credits, qualified returns feed the next batch—closing the loop while improving total cost.
Choose one SKU. We’ll run a DfAM scan, deliver a first article in ≤ 7 days, and launch your first stockless series in 2–4 weeks.

William De Ceulaer is the Founder & CEO of Phoenix Design Lab, where he is redefining how Europe makes: fast, close and circular—without the burden of stock. With hands-on roots in building, operating and maintaining large-format 3D printers, and in developing application-driven recycled polymer blends, William shaped Phoenix’s integrated operating system: DfAM-to-series in weeks, Stockless Replenishment with Priority Capacity, and procurement-ready traceability (including a CO₂ badge) by default.
In August 2025, he accelerated Phoenix through the acquisition of assets and IP previously operated by Colossus NV, and by forging partnerships with Groep Initium, U Plastics and Helmshoeve Venture Capital. Today, Phoenix runs a Dilsen-first production hub, a Van Gendt Hallen (Amsterdam) showroom, and deploys transportable LFAM units for near-site programs. William’s focus is clear: transform waste streams into high-value parts, standardise repeatable series (10–500 pcs) at meter-scale, and help clients launch without inventory—backed by documented quality and circular economics.
At Phoenix, we’re not just building machines — we’re shaping a new industrial model
A model where sustainability isn’t a compromise but a catalyst.
Where waste becomes value.
Where manufacturing is local, circular, and resilient.
And where every layer we print brings us closer to a more conscious, efficient, and regenerative future.
We’re not here to exit.
We’re here to lead.
